What is fashion coming to? In the Flagship store of Macy’s in New York city, the store is using a 72 inch (6 foot) “Magic Mirror” that takes pictures of you and then “virtually” tries on the clothes that you like so that you can see how you look in everything without actually having to try anything on. The mirror is so futuristic that you can share your looks in the clothes on FaceBook to see if your friends like it. Is this the future of retail? Explain how teens or anyone who uses this device could be helped or hurt by it? Would this be something you would be interested in using? Why or why not?

Well i would want to get that because i hate trying on cloths it is too much of a hassle. but i think people will want to get it because it is simple. and you can show your friends the outfit and see if they like it on facebook. the programs are easy to do and then you will be able to do that on the computer. but the bad part is it will cost alot of money.

I think this a good idea because people dont like trying on all kinds of clothes to go shopping it takes longer. And another reason why is because it cool all you have to do is look and see if you want it that it you dont have to change your clothes or nothing so yeah i like this though. The only problem is that how much money is it? it probably going to be very very very expensive.

I think that it’s a cool because if you don’t want to get out of the house or you can’t leave the house you can see what you look like in an outfit. And i think its a help to people who can’t leave their home, because if there parents don’t want to leave you can see what they have at the store and next time you go you know what to get in what size. And i don’t think it would hurt anyone because i don’t see how this invention could hurt anyone.

It probably is but that is a genius idea. Well i think that sense you can share it people could like tell you something really mean, and give you negative complements. Another bad thing is that you could have it one size on the web cam but have it is a different size in the store you are buying from. A good thing is you wont have to waste gas to try on some clothes. I would be interested in it because it is something really different and i think it would be fun to use but you just have to be really careful and and don’t let peoples opinion get to you.

i really don’t think that this device would be a good thing to buy because if it put’s some of the stuff online some people could accidentally put something online then people get hurt because they didn’t want the specific thing online. this is not something i would want to buy because sometimes it can mess up and beside why wouldn’t anyone want to go the store and try it on then being at home trying to see if it fit’s you right. one thing that when you look at yourself in the mirror you might think it is the right thing to buy but it will not be the same if you go to the store and see then being at home and see. some teens this could benefit them because when they have this they might get interested in some kind of job when they grow up on like fashion designer not everyone though. this device for me it wouldn’t be something that would go with me.☺

I think the magic mirror is a good idea because you don’t have to go through all of the trouble to actually go and try on all of the clothes. You can just try them on right where you are. Although its might give you an idea of what it looks like you still cant see how it fits you. You might think it will fit you, but when you actually try it on, it wont fit you the way you expected it too. I think this would be something i would enjoy trying out. Its just something different and unusual. ((=

I think its a good idea because if your a online shopper and do lots of cloth shopping, you’ll need to now how you look like. so thats cool that it lets you try on cloth by using the web cam. Also its cool that you can try the cloth out at the store without happen to get all the cloth you want and trying it on. Plus its cool how you can send it to your facebook and see if your friends like it. so i think they might need up using this stuff in the future.

I wouldn’t be interested in using this magic mirror. I would rather try on clothes myself. I would rather do that because the pants that’s in the magic mirror might look like they fit but they might not. Same with shirts they might look like they fit but they might not. I would much rather get the right size then getting the wrong size and having to go back up there again!

This would be our future of clothes. I accept that the good thing is that you save time trying on clothes. It would usually take 30 minutes to try on clothes. With the machine, it would take 5 minutes. The bad thing though is that we will now be too lazy. Technology has always helped us forever. Using this, just makes us more lazy. I can argue that though. If your in a hurry, you can use it. I will be helped only small parts of time.

I think that this really cool because you don’t have to take forever to try on clothes. I think this will help shoppers because if you look at something you don’t you don’t have to find and put it back where you got it in the first place. I think that shoppers will love this magic mirror because they don’t have to worry about dressing and undressing. I think that people would feel more comfortable with this because no one can peek at you while you are getting undressed. I really like the magic mirror because it will help the clothes shopping process go by faster and more efficient.

My oppinon on the mirror is that it was designed to bring in more customers which is good for the stores with the mirror t bring in more consumers but still to me I dont think its a good way to run a business because there basically tricking there customers i guess.I think that teens culd be helped by it because they can already see what they would look like with that outfit on that they picked out and if they dont like it of how it looks ok them then they can basically go on to the next design or outfit that they had for themsleves and so fforth and so on with the not liking the way it looks or the clothes isnt your type after you see how you look in it .
