As we search for more ways to add functionality to our lives, Google seems to be leading the charge at how to innovate and have enhancements added to your life that you didn’t even know you needed. Enter Google Leanback. Google Leanback is a fun and interesting way to search YouTube videos where it feels more like channel surfing on the TV by giving you a feed (pretty much a playlist). Being fun on your computer is one thing, but if you have internet on your TV, then it takes this to a whole new level. Sony just released the first TV’s that come with Google TV, including leanback. Is this just lazy of people? Is this a service that people want or will even use? What could be a benefit or drawback of a service like this? Explain your answer.

Yeah i do think it is lazy. Because why not just get up and get on the computer instead of getting on your TV i don’t understand it. But it is cool and probably a lot of people will get them because they are interesting but i wouldn’t buy one. I have a TV and computer so why get a TV computer thing.

Really i do think that this is a bit lazy. I mean really does it take so much to turn on a computer? And i actually think a lot of people are going to buy this.. because most of the people in America are lazy. And the drawback would be that the more people that buy this t.v the less people that are going to be on the actual internet, because most of the people use Google. And again yes, i think a lot of people would use this t.v.

Yes this is lazy of people. If you want a computer and a TV just buy both. I have never heard of a a TV being a computer. The company’s for this are crazy because they come out with items that have something in them or with it because they know somebody will buy it and they can get money. This service will get people to want it because it catches their eyes. But the bad thing is the computer could get a virus and mess up both computer and TV.

I do think this is lazy of people. This is also a good idea, it would make things much easier. Yes, I do think people will want, and use this. Of course a drawback would be the price, but it always is. I think this will be popular though.

No I dont think that it is for lazy people. Maybe they just want to get to stuff quicker. Or maybe they hate having to search for stuff and then it takes for ever for it to pop up. I dont know if people will necessarily use it because it might be difficult. The draw back is that they dont make it big through this.

Well in a way it could be because people already play video games which people get addicted and don’t go outside enough. It is the same with computers too. People spend like up to three hours a day on computers because of all the sites like facebook, myspace, and twitter. Well if people want to they can get it and that is up to them not me because I honestly don’t really know what people want to have but i will want it because I have a big t.v. at home. A drawback is people could stay on it like a computer but spend more time on it. A benefit is that it was a great idea and they will make good profit.

I think that having a Google t.v would be cool. Some people that are really into technology might enjoy having the Google t.v. But others who could care less, would probably just stick to their regular computers. I don’t think that having Google on a t.v makes people lazy, but they just don’t need so much of it (some people already watch t.v alot & by adding on Google, that’s just going to make them have more use with a t.v). People could really start to watch/use too much t.v by having Google on a t.v. But it is still an interesting thing.

I had heard about the new T.v’s that allow you to surf the internet on your TV screen and all, but I never knew that they had the Google t.vs and the remotes being made like a keyboard. I guess it could be for the laziness of some people. I think something like this is something everyone will eventually want to use.

i think people won’t really be lazy, just the people that get on the internet 24/7. This t.v might end up selling a lot and it really cool that they added a computer to a t.v. This might end up replacing the computers that they have at home. But there are some bad things, like computers some times need up geting a virus and the other thing is that the internet needs up going slow sometimes, so i dont now if the t.v going to have those problems.

No it’s not lazy at all to me.The reason why i think it’s not lazy to me is because it’s cool because your computer might take minutes to load and if you don’t have no internet all you have to do is get on the TV and use it from off there but all they are doing are just basically doing is just putting you-tube on there so must people may not even by it and then at that some people might get it for the teenage kids and stuff like that.My personal thought is that people may not use it of buy it.I think people might buy it just because they have no computer that’s what i think.

It’s not fully lazy to me. The reason is that you have to find time to find that little remote. It is a good invention for our time. I think this because it is more advanced than a computer. Other than surfing on TV, you surf on the internet on the TV. You can’t get a virus on a TV. Though, the remote might be too confusing for some who don’t know well.

I do think that it does make people lazier but the technology is really cool. One benefit to having this type of television is that you don’t have to search for what you want to watch and taking forever to find it. it also makes it more organized and easier to find something that you want to watch. I like this new television because you can do multiple things while still being in the comforts of your living room. A drawback of this new television is that it makes people lazier.

Yes it is the lazy of people because people don’t have to move to the computer to watch movies. They don’t have to hook up the computer to the TV. They don’t have to be confused about what goes to what. Yes it is the service people will want and use. It can do more than a computer, it can surf channels, videos, and do stuff on computers.
