Myspace has tried to come back with a vengeance. In the last week of October 2010, Myspace relaunched with the Myspace 3.0 Experience. Where it used to be a “place for friends”, it is now a “social entertainment destination”. This version is more streamlined, easier to read and navigate and not crazy with page design. By watching the videos below, can you analyze what is good and what is bad with the new Myspace design? Will this redesign turn into people actually coming back to myspace and making it the number 1 social networking site again? How does this new look of Myspace compare to Facebook? I think one good thing is that more people will probably get on it. One bad thing is people probably think it’s still crowded. I don’t think it will be back on top. I think that’s long gone for them. I don’t really know, but I don’t think people will go back to myspace.

MYSPACE STOLE FACEBOOK’S IDEA!
Facebook has been updating their site to attract more people ever since they started losing more accounts to myspace. and now Myspace randomly decides that they want to update their sites?!
Wow… I still like Facebook a lot better then myspace because your not at a full risk if u post pics and stuff.
Facebook has a Private lock where if you post a pic and you only want certain people to see your pics,you can type in their username and it only allows them to see it.

Everything seems really good. I think it will become number 1 again because of all the designs that I saw on the website. I know I would come to my-space if it was better. It compares because right now face book is better. That is why Face book is on top.

I don’t think that people will go back to myspace because of all the virus problems in the past. I don’t think that this new myspace layout helps people because they have made the website harder and more difficult to read. I don’t like myspace becuase it has given my computer terrible viruses in the past and has gotten me into trouble. Myspace has had many problems but they are trying to get people back and more users but i think people will stay with facebook because they think it is more reliable. so it doesn’t change a thing from my perspective.

You can post on twitter. You can post on Facebook. You’ll need a Facebook account to post to Facebook. You need to have a twitter account to post on twitter. You can play games you love. Yes people will come back to Myspace because of the redesign. It is better. It has news and games and posts.

1) The bad thing about myspace is that people that dont even know you. you can add them and they can bully you over instand message and some people cant deal with it and they can just die (kill thereself). The good thing about myspace is you can talk to your friend even if she is very far away and that why i like http://www.facebook.com and http://www.myspace.com but i hate the bad stuff that can happen.
2) Well i think that some people would go back to myspace but not all people because my great great aunt cant figure out http://www.myspace.com she thinks when you click on a person page she thinks she logged in to there account and i am like no you didnt and she is like yes i didnt but when she gets on http://www.facebook.com

I understand Myspace’s terrible try at making it back. The design looks too complex. It has too much things to load. That and which will cause the users to stay down. I think whats good is the addition of new items. It may be complex but it will have newer things. I may come back if it ever gets better. Facebook is easier to load. This new Myspace will take hours to load. It does not compare to Facebook. It just does for being a social website.

i think myspace won’t rise much. almost everyone has turned to facebook. i don’t think people are going to go back to myspace, at least not right now. i think being on top is gone for myspace. Facebook is just better.

okaee . . . . myspace lookks cool or whadd not, but people dont just go on face book or myspace to play games and other stuff like that, they go on there to contact old and new friends. Its better than picking up the phone and calling some one, you can just IM them because its faster. But you would have to be Likee realLyy Lame to just get on myspace to play luL games. so i think people aint going to care what myspace looks like now, they gonnahh stayy whidd facebook.

i still think that facebook is better then myspace because ive hared from every one that facebook is a lot better then myspace. looked at my dads facebook and it looks pretty easy to talk to friends, manege massages, ect. it might bring people back but i don’t know for sure. im not really sure i haven’t seen myspaces or facebooks home page so i cant say any thing on that.

the good thing about it is that myspace finally change how the their web site looks and the bad thing is that face book is like #1 in social networking. i think that every body is going to stick with facebook, facebook alredy rules. and almost every body uses it now. the page of myspace looks the same it looks like they just change the background black, add it more stuff, and change logo.

I guess it might bring a couple of people back but just some new sharing things wont work. Because face book just still has a few better things like, when you search a persons name it brings common ones up and its brighter and funner. But a few people probably will come back but not me really i check it still every once in a while to see if i have anything new. Most of my notifications are friend request form people i don’t Evan no though so i denied them. And its easier to get hurt on my space to.

no i dont think it will work because myspace has got so boring and nobody gets on. nobody will care about it being a music thing cause we just want to connect with our friends. and face book is an easy nice way to do that.
