Toshiba showed off 2 brand new 3D LCD TV’s on October 4th, 2010.  They featured a 12 inch and 20 inch TV that could watch TV in 3D but YOU DIDN’T HAVE TO WEAR THE GLASSES.  The TV’s retail for $1400 (12 inch) and $2900 (20 inch).  The public has claimed that they are ready for 3D TV at home, but just don’t like the glasses.  Will these TV’s make more people want to buy a 3D TV now?  What are some of the drawbacks (bad reasons) that people would still not want 3D TV at home? EXPLAIN your answers. (You must use at least 5 COMPLETE SENTENCES or you will get ZERO CREDIT)

Yes I do think people will want a 3D TV. One bad reason i could think of is how much they cost a lot of people cant buy a TV that costs that much. And another one would be that some people don’t like 3D so they might just stay with there old TV. Some people just might not want a 3D TV at home.

Because you have to ware the 3D glasses. The glasses can fall off your face. We need a 3D TV that you don’t need the 3D glasses for the 3D TV.

i dont know because it cost alot of money for a tv, but it is pretty cool
and i would want one but its alot of money so i mean people would not want to buy something for 2900 unless ur rich. so i wouldnt buy just stick wit a flat screen tv for awhile.

i think its good because when people come home and they figure that they want to watch t.v but they wanna see it in 3d but they dont want to go to the movies they can just watch it at home instead of waistin gas and money

well the glasses for 1 but having to pay 1400 or more will cause a big deal people can use regular TV’s instead of the 3d TV’s plus it could hurt ur eyes if u watch it to much it could rally hurt little kids eyes lik baby’s and totlers.

i think that it would be a really cool idea. because i think that movies in 3d looks 10 times better. the down side is they cost a lot… also i dont think people would like to wear big glass at home.

No nobody wanna buy that because its stupid and too small. Theres no point of a 3D tv without 3D glasses. It dont make no difference watching it regular or 3D, Just sayin.

I think that this could be a good idea. I like the idea of not having to wear 3-D glasses. But people may get tired of 3-d all together. I would like to have this t.v. for myself. I like the idea.

i think some people will buy it. some won’t. people will want to buy it b/c you don’t have to wear the 3d glasses. people may not buy them b/c they might like the glasses still. the tv screen might be too small for them.

I THINK SOME PEOPLE WILL WANT IT IF THEY HAD THE MONEY. BECUASE NOT EVERYONE HAS MONEY TO BUY THE T.VS THEY WILL NOT MAKE A LOT OF PROGRESS. BUT SINCE YOU DON’T HAVE TO ACTUALLY WEAR THE GLASSES THAT’S A GOOD THING. PERSONALLY I AM OKAY WITH HE REGULAR T.V AND CABLE. SO THIS MIGHT BE A GOOD OR BAD IDEA. DEPENDING HOW IT TURNS OUT.

i think it will sell pretty good. people wouldn’t have to go to the movies to see a 3d movie when they can stay at home and watch it. also they wont have to wear those annoying glasses. the only bad things is they are really small. they also are expensive.

I think this is just a waste of money. I don’t know anybody who wants a 3-D TV. This is a waste of research money and money to buy it. The money that is used on this could go to curing diabetes, a true problem in our nation. I think this will fail as bad as a soccer video game.

I MEAN LOOK AT THE PRICES. I UNDERSTAND THEY AWSOME TVS BUT I MEAN POEPLE MIGHT THINK THATS TO MUCH. BUT I THINK THESE WILL SELL ANYWAY. HAVEN A 3D TV AT HOME AND NOT HAVEING TO WEAR THE CLASSES TO SEE IT IN 3D IS COOL. I MEAN I KNOW I WANT ONE SO YEAH BUT NOT EVERYONE THINKS THE SAME WAY I DO.

I THINK MOST OF THE YOUNGER PEOPLE WILL LIKE IT MORE THAN THE OLDER PEOPLE WILL BECAUSE MOST OF THE OLDER PEOPLE DON’T WANT TO SPEND ALL OF THEIR MONEY AND SOME PEOPLE DON’T HAVE NO MONEY. BUT ALL THE YOUNGER PEOPLE LIKE MOVIES IN 3D SO THAT MEANS IT MAKES IT BETTER FOR THEM IF THEY HAD A 3D TV RIGHT IN THEIR HOUSE.

this is an ok idea but it is pretty bad. i would love a 3d tv in my house but it would make mke crazy. a reason i would not buy it is the price. another is everybody might want to watch it which causes conflict. and confilct in my house is really crazy.

I think that no matter what, people will want to buy the 3D TV. There aren’t any real reasons at all that people won’t want this TV. It would be awesome to be able to watch all your favorite movies in 3D anyways. People have always wanted to bring home and watch movies in 3D. Although it is a waste of technology, it will still sell I’m sure of it.

Yes i think alot of people would like 3d tvs. They make it more fun to watch tv. Plus if alot of people really want it they will buy them at the price so its a good way for the companies to profit more. But draw backs are that if you dont really want 3d you cant just watch regular tv if you change your tv to 3d so it is sorta a bad idea to totally switch to a 3d tv.

I think people don’t need 3D TV’s because you can watch the same thing on a regular TV. I think if you watch too much 3D TV it could ruin your eyesight. They cost way too much money and a lot people wouldn’t be able to afford them anyway.

ONE OF THE REASONS WHY PEOPLE WOULDN’T WANT THE NEW 3D IS BECAUSE YOU HAVE TO WERE THE GLASSES. THE 3D TV IS COOL BUT I COULD KEEP TRACK OF GLASSES AND WERE THEM ALL THE TIME.

Well most people have very bad eye sight. Imagine that person looking at 3D. Oh my god that could make it worst. I mean the tv is tight and cold. I’ts a great idea for people who like 3D. I mean i like but it sometimes can be dangerous to your eyesight. Right!
