December 7th, 1941 is a day many Americans are unaware had such an importance in American History.  We as a nation suffered an incredible tragedy on that day.  That was the only day in history that another country declared an act of war on the United States.  Pearl Harbor, Hawaii was attacked and nearly completely destroyed by a Japanese airplane attack squadron.  The attack killed 2,403, wounded 1,178. sank 5 Battleships, 3 destroyers, 3 cruisers, and 188 aircraft. Japanese losses were minimal. The remains of the Battleship Arizona are now a National Memorial, with 1,177 dead still inside the ship.  It was the worst attack on American soil until the 9/11 tragedy.  Do you think that there was some technology back then or today that we could have and still can use to prevent this type of thing never happens again?  Explain why in 5 sentences.
