Toshiba showed off 2 brand new 3D LCD TV’s on October 4th, 2010.  They featured a 12 inch and 20 inch TV that could watch TV in 3D but YOU DIDN’T HAVE TO WEAR THE GLASSES.  The TV’s retail for $1400 (12 inch) and $2900 (20 inch).  The public has claimed that they are ready for 3D TV at home, but just don’t like the glasses.  Will these TV’s make more people want to buy a 3D TV now?  What are some of the drawbacks (bad reasons) that people would still not want 3D TV at home? EXPLAIN your answers. (You must use at least 5 COMPLETE SENTENCES or you will get ZERO CREDIT)

I think that the public will enjoy these TV’s. People will enjoy the 3D TV’s because you don’t have to wear the glasses. The biggest complaint is having to wear glasses while you watch a movie. Now you can actually enjoy the movie because you don’t have to worry about wearing glasses. These TV’s do cost alot, But i guess its kinda worth it. I think that some people might get tired of having a 3D TV, so they might switch back to the regular TV.

I think that people will not be interested in this television because of the price they put. I really don’t thin that lots of people will buy this television because of the high cost who would buy a television that took most of their money away. people this days don’t really want to waste their money on stuff they can always get at a lower price somewhere else. the people that would probably buy the television would be the people that like shopping in the stores and like wasting their money on different stuff. something that they might not know is that they are just paying for something that can stop working someday which will be money that you lost and something that doesn’t work.

i think these tvs will make people want to buy a 3d tv because you don’t have to wear the glasses or go to the movies and have to pay money to watch something and people probably wouldn’t want a 3d tv at home because some people like to get out the house and go the movies with their friends and they might not think the tvs are cool

Well I think that it is really important to know what they do and how they work then you could see if it is want you want or not. Another thing is like you can go and see what it is like then see if you want one or not. Some drawbacks are if you get one then it messes up or breaks and u didnt have a refund thing then u wasted money and lost alot when it breaks. Another drawback is if you it cost alot just to have a 12in 3d tv. And it cost alot to have a 20in 3d tv. And u have to be careful and take good care of it .

I think that people will buy the one were you dont need the glasses. Only because if your going to buy the one with the glasses, why not buy the one with out the glasses. I mean there about the same price right? So i dont see why you wouldnt buy the new tobisha one.

i think would like to have one at home because you can watch 3d and you wont need glasses. you’ll be able to watch movies at home in 3d with glasses. i think the bad thing about it is that it cost to much money for the 3d tv but it be worth the money and another bad thing is you might need up geting trid of just watch 3d all the time.

I think people will liuke to get the t.v’s because you dnt have to wear glasses for it to be 3d. but some bad things will be that it cost alot of money and some people dont have the money to afford a new t.v when. alot of poeple dont care for stuff like this. i dont see it getting any where. and the screens are small

No not really because,it’s more money and its just no point in buying a tv that cost about 1000-3000 and higher.Because Its more money,is no point.I think i would get it then i wont get it.I think people might get it for there kids to watch stuff on it.I know people hate to wear glasses the whole time they are watching tv .I know you can watch it without the glasses but it just wont look as close to your face as if you had the glasses on.

I think it would be a big hit for some. That is because 3-D is new and popular all the time and wearing the glasses suck. With the 3-D, they can see good but some hate 3-D. I basically think they hate it because their eyes can strain and cause blinding. Plus, sitting near one of those TVs is just one way to cause binding. Another bad thing is how much they cost. They are too expensive.

I think people will be interested in it but not be because of the price. People don’t like the glasses but i think people wont think it would play in 3D. But some people like 3D glasses. It might also be small for what you pay. Those are my reasons.

But I like the 3d movie with the glasses off and I like that better then. The 3d glasses movie on is so cool or not cool to wear those glasses off.

YES BUT NO. yes because you don’t have to were those dorky glasses. and they also might get it so they will buy one TV and watch 100 movies on that TV for free than spending a lot on the movies. and no because it will cost a a lot of money. it also might not because it is small and people will not pay for a small TV when they can get a bigger one for the same price

Yes because, people love to watch movies in 3d but hate wearing the glasses.
I know I do because they hurt my eyes.
Some bad reasons are: that people might not be able to afford it.
: that it might not work.
: And that it might not fit good with your living room.
I would want this T.V. unless everything is in 3d, that might get annoying.
And it is really expensive for my family.

I like this T.V because when you watch it you don’t have to wear the glasses. Also, you have 2 choices. You could get a 12 inch for 1,400. Or you could get a 20 inch for 2,900. Both of these choices are good, personally i would get the 20 inch because i like big T.V’s because you can see and hear better.

I like the new Toshiba t.v.’s because they don’t require the glasses. I also think that it will increase the chances of more people buying 3D t.v.’s. But a draw back with some of these t.v.’s is that you have to be in a certain range of the t.v. which I think that the companies need to develop. They also can make games that are able to play on 3D t.v.’s even better to enjoy. I think that this will make people buy them a lot.

This seems like a good idea and a bad idea. The good thing is that it would be so cool to watch 3d movies without 3d glasses. Also it would make people start watching 3d because everything is 3d now. The bad thing is how much it is going to cost. Not everybody can go and buy a 90,000 dollar t.v and still pay the bills on time. That is what i think.

I still say 3D T.V is stupid. For one, they are expensive to buy. Two, you have to find something coming on in 3D. Three, they are hard to repair. It’s too big of a hassle.

I think people might buy them for their bedrooms, but putting them were company can see them I don’t think so. Yes I think so. Everyone is ready for a 3D T.V, were you don’t have to were the glasses. One drawback is the price. Everything has a drawback like that though unless it’s not expensive, but if it’s not it’s usually a piece of crap. I can’t really think of anymore drawbacks right now.

i don’t think this is a good idea because they never did tell us they did tests to the brain and to see if its safe and also i have herd it gives you a huge headache after you watch it for a long perod of time. also it might cause a sizure because i think it was untested. and also it will be to expenceve and might not have enof space or area space in a living room for some buyers of the t.v. from jesse

But i know some people will say”well they can just turn it off” and yeah thats true but still why watch 3D every time you watch TV i mean whats the point ?? But then i see how people wouldnt want to go to the movies all the time just to see a movie in 3D and atually pay to where they could be home free of money and snacks to watch anything in 3D.
