On October 22nd, 2010 Sony officially put an end to the Sony Walkman (Cassette Player). Even though you are too young to remember, the Walkman was the iPod of it’s day. First introduced in 1979,the Cassette Player was eventually killed off by the CD player in 1986 and THAT was killed off by the mp3 player or iPod in 2000.
